Sawadee Khap! A greeting I eagerly anticipate when I touch down in Thailand! This vibrant city is best known for its elephant sanctuaries, floating markets, Thai massages, Buddhism, the Grand Palace, and of course, its exquisite cuisine and street food. While my travel plans to Thailand are still in the works, let’s first embark on a journey to taste the flavors of Thailand right here at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu. It’s East meets West as Dusit Thani celebrates Thai cuisine with a three-day culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with delight. This fine dining experience is nothing short of spectacular, blending traditional Thai flavors with contemporary Western influences.

This dining experience was a revelation, where the rich flavors of the East seamlessly melded with Western culinary techniques. The burst of goodness in every dish was truly unforgettable.

My Personal Favorite

A must-try is the Neau Hong Nam Prik Goong Siab. This Phuket style braised beef cheek, served with bok choy, shitake mushroom, Phuket goong siab paste, rice berry, sesame rice cracker, and salted egg yolk, was a revelation. The tender beef cheek paired with the vibrant flavors and textures made it an absolute standout.
