During the holidays it is really a headache putting up a good outfit for Christmas parties and events.  As much as we could come up with a neat and comfortable holiday ensemble, it is impossible not to mind red pieces inside our closets. One of my favorite color is red and I occasionally wore it.  Now that Christmas is fast approaching I thought of a way to pull-off a striking red ensemble.

Definitely, red is a mainstream hue specially the holidays. You can mostly see this colors in malls, boutiques, shops, hotels which is starting to become an eye sore to those who wears it. It is a very noticable color that most of us have some inside our wardrobe which we can’t let go. Plus, we have some doubts of wearing this striking color because of our weather which can be sometimes humid, hot and very unpredictable. We often limit ourselves to wear sweaters and other knitted pieces which that make or break those styles that we wanted to pull out.

Now this year, I fearlessly decided to wear a red outfit to match and top the Christmas feels. Yes! In full red of course! Although it is very common for this season to wear one. The only trick for you not to sweat (like I do) that much is to choose a light fabric and material which is breezy and appropriate.

Layering is making its total comeback this season. I also added a few details and layered a white button down chino collared to make the red sweater pops out its color. Accessories should never be forgotten. To complete the look grab a classic brown leather watch, paired it with a denim slim fitted jogger jeans to tone down the color and a red sneaks to kick that holiday vibe.
